Aquarium

Blair, Amber, and I took the kids to the new aquarium in Salt Lake for the day.  It was so much fun!  Cole and Brooke loved everything about it and would have stayed longer if I let them.  Bailee loved it too, but got tired fast.  They have lots more animals at the new aquarium and it is lots bigger.  My kids loved all of it... the sharks, the penguins, and the big amazon fish were their favorites.  They did touch the star fish but weren't brave enough to touch the sting rays.  Bailee was so scared of them that she grabbed on to my necklace so tight it broke.  Silly girl!  Camden was a trooper the whole time and loved all of the people (and the animals too).  We stopped for ice cream and shopping at Target on our way home.  We will have to take more field trips!  It was such a blast.

More Fishing

We've done a whole lot of fishing this summer!  Matt's uncle has a pond with trout in it out on his land so we decided to go out there one night.  Candice and Rick have been visiting from Texas so we invited them to come and Nick and Amber came too.  It was a terrible night for fishing.  Matt finally caught one at the end of the night, but the rest of us had no luck.  The kids thought it was lots more fun to ride Jim's Razor.

Candice and Rick will be moving back in August so we are super excited!  We have been friends with them our whole married life and I was so sad when they left.  Brooke and Bentley will be in the same class at school.  Yea!!  Guess we will have to have another night of fishing when they get back.
