Read This!

This was on the news last night and I couldn't figure out how to post it on my blog. For some reason it just wouldn't paste. I sent it to my cousin Brie and she posted it on hers. Click here to go read it. It is heart breaking. As I was reading it I couldn't get it out of my head that it could have been me. The little boy is the exact same age as Cole and his brother about the same as Brooke. I can't count how many times I've left them alone in the tub for "just a minute." Never will I leave my kids in the tub alone again!

Big Boy

We moved our full size spare bed into Brooke's room in an attempt to bribe her to stay in her own bed all night. Instead of putting the twin bed downstairs to collect dust, I decided to put it in Cole's room. He was all excited and refused to sleep in his crib so I decided to let him try the big boy bed. It lasted about three minutes before he jumped down and came running out. Mom is definetly not ready for that! An hour of crying in his crib later he finally gave in and went to sleep. Silly boy!

P.S. If anyone has any suggestions on how to get Brooke to stay in her own bed all night I'm willing to try anything at this point. Everynight around 2 or 3 she comes and gets in our bed. Of course she gets in on Matt's side so he just scoots over and I don't even know she's there until he leaves for work in the morning.
